According to the actress's post, "The Buckingham Murders," released in 2023, has been nominated in five categories at the Filmfare Awards 2025. The actress revealed that the film has been nominated for Best Film Critics, Best Female Actress Critics (Kareena Kapoor Khan), Best Cinematography (Emma Dalesman), Best Sound Design (Mandar Kulkarni), and Best Background Score (Ketan Sodha and Night Song Studio). The actress congratulated the entire team in a post, writing, "Amazing team."
Unsuccessful at the box office
Kareena Kapoor Khan's crime thriller "The Buckingham Murders" was released in theaters on September 13, 2024. The film underperformed at the box office, leading the makers to release it on the OTT platform, Netflix. Kareena's performance in the film was highly praised. The film stars Ranbir Brar, Rukku Nahar, Prabhleen Sandhu, and Ash Tandon, among others. Interestingly, Kareena also produced the film, and Hansal Mehta directed it.

Shooting for "Dayara" begins.
On the work front, Kareena began shooting for the crime-drama "Dayara," directed by Meghna Gulzar, just three days ago.
