Big Brother is full of many twists and turns already, with the brand new series only launching on Sunday night. Since then, there has already been one eviction and the teased arrival of four new contestants.
Monday night's episode saw the 12 housemates get to know each other, while Emily, Sam and Caroline were shunned to a separate room. They were tasked with talking it out to fight for a spot in the house.
In a brutal twist, the trio had to vote between themselves as to who should be the first to leave before 24 hours had even passed. Emily voted for Caroline, Caroline voted for Emily and Sam picked Emily.

It left Emily with the most votes, meaning she was evicted from the Big Brother house. At the end of the episode, viewers were teased with more drama as it was confirmed four housemates would be making their entrance.
The housemates had predicted more might turn up as they counted 16 beds in the iconic bedroom. However, they don't realise how soon the house is set to be welcoming the new contestants.
Over on spin-off show Late and Live, fans got a glimpse at the new housemates with one making history. Richard is set to become the oldest housemate to enter the Big Brother house in 20 years.
The last oldest contestant to appear on the civilian show was Lesley Brain, also 60, in series eight. She left the competition after 11 years due to boredom.
Richard's arrival has already caught the attention of fans as one said: "Love Richard already and haven't even seen much of him!"
Another added: "LOVE RICHARD!" Someone else commented: "A 60 YEAR OLD? We won!" A fourth shared: "NOW it’s Big Brother. They should have entered last night. Obsessed with Richard already!"
Giving a taste as to what to expect from his time on the show, Richard said: "I've been single my whole life." His comment quickly caught the attention ofprevious Big Brother winner Jordan Sangha, who quipped: "Wise man."
It seems a pretty direct blow at his ex Henry Southan, who he met on the ITV show in 2023. Their “platonic with kisses” relationship became one of the defining storylines of the series, captivating fans with its warmth, awkwardness and unexpected tenderness.
In April, Jordan announced that he had separated from Henry in a statement released on Instagram. He said: "An unfortunate announcement.
"After many times, memories, and precious experiences, Henry and I have parted ways. I want to than everyone who has supported us. We will always remain close friends. Cheers x."
Henry also issued a statement: "After a lot of thought, Jordan and I have decided to go our separate ways. It's incredible sad, and we're both hurting, but we know it's the right step.
"We're so grateful for the love and support you've shown us - thank you. Please give us some space as we figure things out privately." Earlier this month, Jordan issued a rare update following the split as he issued a plea.
He wrote on his Instagram Story: "I am tired of being blamed for the breakup. I know what happened and I continue to know what's happening. That's all."
