Strictly Come Dancing star Gemma Atkinson has given fans a major update on her wedding plans with professional dancer Gorka Marquez. The couple, who announced their engagement on Valentine's Day 2021, started dating in 2017 after meeting on the Strictly tour.
They welcomed their daughter Mia in 2019 and son Thiago in 2023. Despite being engaged for four years, they've never been in a rush to say 'I do'.
Gemma had previously expressed reluctance about getting hitched without her late father there to walk her down the aisle, but it seems wedding bells might be ringing soon following a change of heart.
In a new interview, Gemma has shared that she and Gorka have been mulling over their nuptials, considering a small ceremony in Manchester.

She revealed: "We've toyed about doing it in Spain, so his family can come, and we've even thought about doing it in a registry office or a hotel in Manchester, just the two of us, and then have a big party after."
"But I think now we want to wait until Thiago is a bit older, so maybe next year or the year after, as he's only two. If he's a bit older, he could be involved in it, which would be really nice," she told The Express.
Gemma also disclosed that she is undergoing tests for perimenopause, the natural transition a woman experiences before menopause.
She shared: "In terms of children, I'm fine with it because I always wanted two, I never wanted more, and we've been lucky enough to have a boy and a girl.
"I'm actually having what they call a Dutch test after listening to a podcast, and it will let you know whether you are perimenopausal or not. I've not had any symptoms yet, I still feel okay, but realistically, I'm 41 this year, and there will be changes coming."
Gemma is launching a new range of skincare for her collection Gem + Tonic, which includes a face cream, hair mist and a moisturiser.
She expressed: "It has been such a rollercoaster, we've had so many bumps along the way, but I really just wanted to do it for every busy woman out there, who are juggling careers and relationships and parenthood.
"For me, it has been about finding that balance with science and nature, and it's just ideal for people who don't have time for a nine step skincare routine."
