Top Gear enthusiasts are grappling with deciding which member of the iconic trio is producing the finest gin. Jeremy Clarkson, James May, and Richard Hammond each boast their own gin brand, leaving devotees of the threesome pondering which beverage reigns supreme.

The Grand Tour hosts concluded their beloved Amazon Prime programme last year, but have subsequently ventured into the drinks industry with various gins and ales. Clarkson's Hawkstone lager represents just one of numerous beverages crafted by the trio, who each separately launched their own liquor enterprises.

Enthusiasts are now attempting to determine which of the three gins excels, with the consensus being that one significantly outshines the remaining two.

A fan posted to the r/ClarksonsFarm Reddit forum, enquiring whether people had sampled all three gins from the former Top Gear hosts.

They asked: "Have you seen that you can now buy gin from all three of the Top Gear trio?" Hawkstone Gin from Jeremy Clarkson retails at £37.50 per bottle, whilst the Asian Parsnip variant of James' Gin appears on shelves for £33.99.

Hammond's gin, Ratio London Dry Gin, appears on Amazon at £44.50. The three gins remain available to UK residents, though imports of the bottles have occurred and some enthusiasts are purchasing the gin internationally.

One commented: "I don't drink gin. But from what we've seen from each one of them, I have to assume James has the tastiest version."

Another agreed who had sampled the drinks confirmed that James May's gin was a top-notch tipple. They wrote: "James Gin is very good, I'm just not sure it's pay $50-ish a bottle for gin.

"My last bottle was the American Rumstad, it was a nice novelty, and quite tasty, but there are plenty of good bottles available at my ABC Store for $35 to be a go to instead."

Another agreed, adding that May's gin is the most "straightforward" of the three bottles. A fan of the gin wrote: "I've had three of May's and three of Clarkson's. They were all pretty solid; the Clarkson gins had some funky aromatics used while the May ones were a bit more straightforward."

A third shared: "Having tried all three, May's gin is the best (shoutout to Rhub***ard Cider from Clarkson though)."

Fans of Clarkson's Farm also noted that Hawkstone Gin was worth a try.

The product description reads: "This gin brings together the best ingredients from the Scottish Highlands to the rolling Oxfordshire hills, along with premium wheat grown by local farms."

Richard Hammond has also entered the gin market with Ratio London Dry, which he described as "the countryside in a gin glass."

He said: "I pulled a London Dry Gin through a hedge to make something unique and wonderful. It is the countryside in a gin glass."
