All of Kim Kardashian's marriages explained as The Kardashians Season 7 drops

Kim Kardashian has never been one to hide her A-list romances from the public eye.

The 45-year-old reality television personality is once more offering viewers an intimate glimpse into her glamorous lifestyle in The Kardashians season seven, currently available for streaming on Disney+.

Whilst the majority of fans have witnessed Kim's turbulent relationship with controversial rapper Kanye West firsthand, many remain unaware of her previous trips to the altar.

As the SKIMS founder and her family members make their return to television screens, we examine her marriages over the years - alongside her current relationship status.

Kim Kardashian secretly wed renowned music producer Damon Thomas in 2000, merely two years after they met, reports OK!

Kim was only 18 years of age when she met Damon, who is ten years her senior. Details surrounding their brief union largely remained private, though their divorce was finalised in February 2004.

More than ten years later, Kim ultimately admitted she was under the influence of ecstasy during their wedding ceremony.

"I did ecstasy once and I got married," she disclosed during an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

"I did it again, I made a sex tape [with ex-boyfriend Ray J]. Like, everything bad would happen," she elaborated.

Damon responded to Kim's "unfair" remarks during a VladTV interview. He stated: "I think it's unfair to make those kinds of blanket statements because we have kids now, you know? I have children. My kid goes to the same school her kid goes to. So, imagine him when he has to deal with that at school."

The producer went on: "I think she should be more responsible with those statements.

"Because it happened in the past, you can try to sweep it under the rug, but you don't stay married to somebody or be with somebody for four to five years and it's just based off you getting high off of ecstasy, you know what I mean? That doesn't make sense at all," he added.

Keeping up with the Kardashians fans will recall Kim's notorious marriage to former basketball player Kris Humphries.

The pair's rapid romance kicked off in late 2010, before they became engaged in spring 2011 and wed in August that year. Their nuptials were televised as a special instalment of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

Unfortunately, the union proved fleeting, with Kim filing for divorce just 72 days later. She cited irreconcilable differences as the grounds for their separation.

However, Kim later confessed she hadn't wanted to go ahead with the wedding at the time, but felt she couldn't back out. Given their ceremony was scheduled for broadcast, the reality personality worried about public backlash if she cancelled.

"I thought, 'OK, we're filming this for a TV show. If I leave, I'm going to be known as the runaway bride forever. It's going to be a huge joke,'" she revealed during the 2021 Keeping Up With the Kardashians reunion.

Arguably her most renowned romance to this day, Kim and Kanye West had been friends for years before becoming romantically involved.

Kanye reportedly predicted his marriage to Kim while she was still wedded to Kris Humphries, and his prophecy came true in 2014 when the pair exchanged vows in Italy.

The celebrity couple are parents to four children: North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm West.

Despite seeming like one of Hollywood's most solid couples, Kim initiated divorce proceedings from Kanye after nearly seven years of marriage. At the time of filing, their split was reportedly due to irreconcilable differences.

Their divorce was widely covered in the media, with Kanye even publicly criticising Kim and her family. Their divorce was finalised in November 2022.

Kim recently disclosed that she has been single for some time now.

"I am single and I feel totally, totally content," she expressed during a recent appearance on Alex Cooper's Call Her Daddy podcast.

"I have my kids to raise. I have a life that, like, requires a lot of my attention. And my kids just really need me right now. So I don't know how I would fit something else in. So I'm just not looking," she further added.
