A stunning seaside city in Spain known for its sandy beaches, nightlife, and old-world charm is upgrading itself to become the "Las Vegas of Europe". Nestled along the sun-soaked Costa Blanca, Benidorm is a vibrant coastal city in Spain's Alicante province.
The Spanish seaside resort is home to a large number of skyscrapers. But it is working on doubling its architectural tradition by raising its tallest building yet. A luxury 230 m (745 ft) skyscraper will soon be constructed in the city, making it the highest residential tower in Spain. The council has given a green signal to the project, which is backed by the property developer TM Grupo Inmobiliario.

The building is touted to have 64 floors and 260 flats along with facilities such as gyms, pools, private cinema and a sky bar with an astronomical observatory, reports The Times.
According to the officials, the construction of the building is likely to be completed in 2028. The overall cost of the project has been estimated as £23.9 million (€27.5 million).
TM Tower is set to become a striking symbol of Benidorm's transformation, rising as the town commemorates its 900th anniversary. Once a humble fishing village until the 1950s, Benidorm has evolved into a skyline-dominated resort city, and the TM Tower will further cement that legacy.
Standing at 230 meters, it will surpass the city's current tallest structure, the 202-meter Intempo building, and claim the title of Spain's fourth tallest building.
Only Madrid's Torre de Cristal, Torre Moeve, and Torre PwC will stand taller, making TM Tower not just a local landmark but a national architectural statement.
TM Grupo Inmobiliario says on its website: "TM Tower will rise to over 200 metres in height, comprising a total of 64 floors and featuring more than 13,000 square metres of communal areas and amenities that will allow you to enjoy the Mediterranean lifestyle like never before.
"Sixty-four floors of properties with 1, 2, 3, and 4 bedrooms and exceptional amenities designed to elevate your residential experience to the highest level."
