Shillong: CM Conrad K Sangma has emphasised the importance of education as a priority sector for the govt while acknowledging the many challenges that continue to exist within the state's education system, reports Manosh Das.
Despite the complexities, Sangma iterated the govt's commitment to strengthening institutions and improving access to quality education for all students across the state.
Speaking after inaugurating the computer lab at Mawlai Presbyterian College, funded through the Chief Minister's Development Fund here, he said on Tuesday the facility, set up with an allocation of Rs 10 lakh, is expected to enhance digital learning and provide students with access to modern technological resources.
