Two people were killed in Morocco on Wednesday when police opened fire on a group trying to storm a station.
According to the government-owned MAP news agency , police in Lqliaa, near the coastal city of Agadir, "were forced to use their service weapons, in legitimate self-defence, to repel an attack and a storming... on (police) premises," AFP reported.
"During this attack, two people died from gunshot wounds," MAP said.
The incident comes as violent protests continue to spread across the North African country.
