While most of the K-pop industry stayed quiet after the court’s decision, Kesha stepped in with a short but kind message. Her post on X, “My heart is with you NewJeans,” made fans happy and emotional.

Many fans thanked Kesha for standing with the girls when many others did not. People on social media praised her for showing care and courage.

The group, who first accused ADOR of mistreatment last year after the exit of former CEO Min Hee-jin, said they will keep fighting. Their story is far from over, and fans continue to send love and support.

NewJeans members Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein lose contract case against ADOR

The girl group NewJeans, also known as NJZ, had asked the Seoul Central District Court to stop their exclusive contract with ADOR. But the court did not agree. Judges said that while there may be “trust issues” between the girls and the agency, it was not enough to end the contract. The court also said there was not enough proof that ADOR broke any major promises in their deal.

Because of this ruling, the group cannot start any new projects or promotions outside ADOR’s control. The decision was a big setback for the members, who have been fighting to gain freedom since last year. The court said ADOR did not violate any key terms, so the contract stands strong.

Soon after the ruling, NewJeans’ legal team said the girls respect the court’s decision but plan to appeal. They said trust between the group and ADOR is now “completely broken” and that the girls want to work in a safe and fair place where they can focus on their art.
